‘Rhea Foundation’ manifested through an inherent need from the core founding members to positively impact and assist the lives of people born in less fortunate conditions than them. Being part of the the Western developed world where consumerism, materialism and excess is reinforced and promoted on a daily basis we created the ‘Foundation’ to carry-out humanitarian initiatives as a countermeasure to what modern-day society tried to condition us to become.
All the members of the team have extensive experience in volunteering and humanitarian expeditions both with international and national NGOs’. Since 2011 the experience gained in Nepal, India and Africa led to the creation of a specialized network of core members and coordinators who work together in solidarity in order to complete various missions and undertakings that will positively impact the quality of life of people born in less favorable conditions than us.
Through the organization of various fundraisers we gather the appropriate funds in order to complete various projects in third-world countries and offer opportunities to upcoming generations of people to experience a better quality of life.
We aim to make the people who support us aware that there is an unknown part of the world where suffering and pain are a daily reality and try to make them understand how lucky they are to have basic necessities such as electricity, water and shelter which are considered luxuries in different parts of the globe and thus make them understand the benefits of living a more efficient, less materialistic and more appreciative existence.
Every cent we raise is accumulated and declared in our economic statements and the funds are then invested towards infrastructural projects for the betterment of peoples lives in undeveloped countries.
We constantly provide updates in relation to our endeavors through our social media platforms where we aim to show our supporters and benefactors that their funds are properly invested towards the direct betterment of the quality of life of people born in less favorable conditions than them.
