TRANSPARENCY

Transparency & Accountability

We understand that it's important to you that your donation is being used effectively. It's important to us, too. That's why we work hard to maintain the highest level for accountability and transparency. Since our humble beginnings we’ve relied on a small group of generous donors and a handful of Companies to fund our projects. We've collaborated with various educational establishments and engaged students, professionals and the lay public in finding innovative and smart solutions to raise funds and finance humanitarian developmental projects while guaranteeing and proving that their raised funds have reached the undeveloped country and funded the project. Year after year our commitment to transparency inspires support from passionate donors, enthusiastic fundraisers, long-standing brand partners, and loyal volunteers who believe—like we do—that taking hands on action directly changes the quality of a persons life.

Transparency and accountability are fundamental principles of our core philosophy as reflected by our internal policies that outline explicitly our approach in making the information as clear and precise as possible. All the funds we raise are invested towards our humanitarian endeavors in Africa, India and Nepal for the betterment of peoples lives and all the donations are accounted for and disclosed at the end of each financial year as per Law Ν.104(I)/2017. The financial statements are checked by an approved auditor and then send for inspection at the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Cyprus. This allows us to operate in a European jurisdiction where compliance for registered foundations is high and at the same time raises the trust and support within our benefactors in order to make our organization more efficient, responsive, collaborative and better able to deliver on its commitments to people that lack access to education, electricity and clean water.
