The Rhea Foundation privacy policy governs the personal data of the Foundation users, benefactors and members of our programs (Sponsorship and Volunteering Program) which are voluntarily provided by them with their consent for the proper use of the website and registration to any of our programs.
The information provided by the users are used for the correct, proper and direct communication with the Foundation and the services provided for the purposes of conducting our programs and the fulfilment of our projects and goals as are presented in our website.
The Foundation does not distribute anywhere or to anyone else the personal data of the users of its website, its benefactors and the members of its programs. Therefore the Foundation takes the appropriate technical measures to secure the personal data of its users, benefactors and members from loss or from any form of processing as described below.
The users of the website, the benefactors and the members of our programs are protected under the European Directive GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).

The following terms and conditions will be called the "Terms of Use" of the website www.rhea-foundation.org which is part of Rhea Foundation (hereinafter the “Foundation”) an organization registered under the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Cyprus.
This policy has been formulated for the proper communication and interaction of the visitors of the website who wish to be informed about the actions and work of the Foundation, the members of our Sponsorship and Volunteering Programs and any benefactors who wish to make a contribution or organize an event for the Foundation.
These Terms of Use do not apply to websites hosted by other organizations on a different website that may provide a link to this Website. Users of different websites should be informed about the protection and privacy policy of the other websites they visit.
2. Terms of Use:

We advise visitors and users of our Website to read the Terms of Use presented here before any use of this Website so as to be informed of their rights. Continuity in the use of the Website is an affirmation that the user has read, understood and accepted the terms of this policy. If the user does not agree with the Terms of Use he must stop using this website.

The Foundation seeks to offer the best quality of service to the users of the Website and keeps the information and all the content accurate, correct and clear. In no case, including that of negligence, is the Foundation liable for any damage caused to the user of the Website by its use, to which the user proceeds on his own initiative and with knowledge of these Terms of Use.

The collection of the personal data of the user is required for the realization of donations, or the registration in one of the programs administered by the Foundation (Sponsorship Program and/or Volunteering Program). The sending/giving of the user's personal data by the user also means automatic consent to the use of this data by the Foundation for the purposes of the user’s integration and usage to the Program of his/her choosing. The Foundation is not allowed to disclose to third parties the personal data of the users of its Website or of its benefactors and members of one of its programs without their own consent unless such disclosure is required by law or by relevant legislation or court decision.
6. Transaction security:

The Foundation has adopted procedures that protect the user's personal data from any unauthorized access or disclosure, or loss or misuse, false alteration or destruction. The procedures are binding on the Foundation in order to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the data it collects about its users as much as possible. The Foundation has implemented appropriate technical measures to protect the users' personal data from loss, or from any form of illegal processing. User support data via credit-card or account-numbers are used based on the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) electronic security protocol. SSL uses methods to securely exchange data between users and the Website by establishing a secure connection between them over the Internet and preventing malicious activity. While the user is on the secure page of the Foundation, his browser informs him that he is on a secure (secured) website with visible signs, such as the symbol of the company which provides the SSL certificate and guarantees the secure exchange of data and the identity of the website of the Foundation.
7. Correction, modification or deletion of information:

The information, content and the Foundation Logos found on the website are the intellectual property of the Foundation and any use of them requires written permission from the Foundation.
10. Users that are Minors:
